Astrology June 18✨🌞✨We approach the Celebration Summer Solstice this Thursday with many outer planets in Retrograde. Neptune slows down to join Jupiter, Saturn & Pluto today in standstill/backwards movement. Soon our inner action planet Mars will join this slowing down retro pace too. It’s like the fast car of the mental, multitasking, skating on the surface of life Gemini Season is skidding to a halt. All the unfinished business is thrown to the front of the car as we wait for the long freight train of planets to stop in the middle of the road blocking fast forward movement. It’s time to celebrate how far we’ve come and go behind the scenes to weave a new dream or riff on the melody we’ve already created. It’s gonna look like a mess for awhile to your logical mind. You’ll have to forgive that part of your brains judgement on you. The path now is internal, creative, and intuitive. June 14 Astrology Reflections✍️Continuing on with this challenge my soul guides and human mentors have been giving me I am supposed talk about wrestling with writing ✍️ About this crossroads I find myself at. About how I used to be a writer and worked In the publishing biz in my 20s. About how I made a promise to myself to return to being a writer once my dance days were done✍️About how I don’t know if writing still makes me happy or fulfilled, or if it’s nostalgia for an intellectually heady earlier version of myself before all this Yoga, Recovery and Astrology transformed me into my current version of myself✍️I would have to say I’m definitely in an Identity Crisis. But who isn’t these days? Our entire country got a mega ass whoopin’ under last August ‘s historical Total Solar Eclipse that swept from Sea to Shining Sea across this Good Ole US of A. With Pluto the planet of Transformation(Birth•Death•Rebirth opposing our USA Sun in Cancer we are all seeing and feeling this mass Collective Identity Crisis✍️Who are we now & where are we going as a country and as individuals? What happened in your life last August? Are you ready for another shake up to your identity on this next go round with Eclipses on the Leo/Aquarius Axis in July and August this year✍️I put up these pictures of lady authors I was introduced to in my writing classes at CU Boulder in the mid-70’s. Virginia Woolf and Sylvia Plath were brilliant and killed themselves. Anais Nin was a forerunner of the avant-garde freedom of press and free sex movements. It was not light stuff to be inspired to become a writer with, but it was common for the extreme astrology of those times…the exact same Uranus-Pluto intensity vibe we are all experiencing now again✍️As we are zapped by the heavy mental Gemini/Mercury energy field this month we can get trapped in our heads. This is where I got stuck in those youthful writing days of yore. There was no balance between heart and head. These writers I learned to love and admire showed me how to write, but at the expense of nearly destroying myself in the process. In these highly cerebral last days of our June Gemini Season please find balance✍️#astrology
